I recently found a great magazine called metro family-a library freebie. It has all of the events on a calender for the month. It is so much fun to see what's going on in the city. Well one of the events was called "Touch a Truck". It was a free event but donations went towards a Food bank. When we arrived we pulled up in front of a helicopter. We new we had picked a great event. They had a huge parking lot with trucks and cars just lined up for kids to go climb into. The Police had their cars, motorcycles, and traveling vans. The Fire department had 2 fire trucks, there were construction trucks, garbage trucks, ambulances, race cars, moving vans, tow trucks, a bus, and an ice cream truck. Can you imagine a 2 year old's face!!? Jackson was in heaven. So at the end of the event after climbing in every truck and driving each one, when asked which was his favorite he replied, "The ice cream truck." It was a ton of fun. Next week there is an air show!! Jon was so excited. Next week I'll post pictures of him acting like a little boy!

Fun!! I'm going to go to the library to find one of those magazines now...I always pass them without thinking twice.
